Keith Harmon Snow, as much as his work is pointed in the right direction, is an egotistical fool. I recently "un-friended" him on facebook where he regularly posts comments like "Don't read the newspapers". And " If you read the New York Times, National Geographic etc you're only adding to you own mental health problems". I suspect this is because these publications do not publish his work. I get the definite impression he thinks we should be reading what he writes, so maybe he could educate us about where he is published. Further more he works only on donations, and from what I can gather hasn't spent an awful lot of time in some of the countries he writes about, while all the time he lives on his family estate in Massachusetts. If you truly care about these places as much as your writings suggest sell that shit, down size and make some pretty hefty donations with the millions your bound to make, which will also allow you to work constantly to reporting on Africa. Do not go around telling people what they should and should not read and publicizing yourself as some kind of massiah. A journalist should know better.
