Thank-you Letter to the President Jammeh
Your Excellency, Yahya Abdul-Azziz Jemus Junkung Diliu Jammeh, President of Gambia,
We at AfrobeatRadio would like to congratulate you, Mr. President, for putting Gambia onto the headlines of the world’s press. Gambia certainly deserves all the attention it can get in dealing with the escalating economic and political problems.
It takes genius, leadership and vision of someone of your caliber, Your Excellency, to benefit Gambia, and indeed the whole world, with all you have accomplished. For one, your ingenious cure for AIDS – a green herbal paste – is certainly an international achievement in the field of biology and medicine. It is unclear to us why some doubters are still refusing to use it to eradicate that deadly world-wide problem.

AfrobeatRadio condemns all non-photographic portrayals of the distinguished President.
Your invaluable contribution to the welfare of Gambians, through your wisdom, has revealed the sinister fact that homosexuals are responsible for all the evils in Gambia. Your practical advice to “cut the head of every homosexual caught in Gambia” is certainly your most comprehensive plan, to date, to deal with all the problems Gambia faces, right at the root.
We can also understand your passive stand when dealing with reported sporadic deaths of a dozen, or two, of innocent people – it is indeed rather an insignificant number when compared with the number of people being routinely killed in major natural disasters.
We are also not sure why, in your mercy, Mr. President, you choose to tolerate unpatriotic activities such as dissident voices calling you “mentally insane” without any reliable and independent psychiatric evaluation whatsoever. We know as well that, as so many well documented figures in history, you desire nothing less than absolute obedience.
It is excessive for anyone to suggest that “you do not trust your own relatives, loved ones, friends and family members” and that “you are afraid to leave the country because the military would topple you” while your complete lack of trust is fully justifiable under the circumstances. It is tragic, if not laughable, that you are suspected of being “consumed with negativity and evil thoughts.”
The unrelenting patriotic mission you launched 16 years ago, Mr. President, is sure to trigger opposition of resistant people, but calling a saint who is serving impoverished citizens, “a monster,” is incomprehensible.
We encourage you, Your Excellency, to disregard completely ill-will predictions, that surfaced recently, which suggest that “Gambia will become ungovernable in a few months” and that you “may even die violently, if nothing changes.”
We sincerely pray that history will judge you justly, Mr. President, because you indeed deserve a lot for all you have done.
Respectfully,
AfrobeatRadio

After just browsing through (cos i certainly can summon enough courage to read the entirety of this letter of yours) my first reaction was to check up ur ABout US. And I cant believe that you guys are writing from a supposed free nation….It is disappointing that in your desprate quest for recognition you could endurse Yaya Jammeh's barbarity by trying to convince him that killing Gambians is execusable….I do not expect you to publish this, but I do know that you will get to read it and see what most Gambians would think about you on seeing this….God save your souls.
On the whole, I found this article very amusing, witty, smart and condescending at the same time. Keep up with your amusingly smart way of exposing this tyrant to the rest of the world. He deserves all the attention and the accolades raining his way. BTW, what's up with the new middle name for His Excellency – Diliu? I only know of Sheikh His Excellency Professor Alhagi Doctor (SHEPAD) Yahya Abdul Jemus Junkung Jammeh…….phew!…
